The Australian National Values Assessment was commissioned by the Australian Futures Project through the Barrett Values Centre and Corporate Evolution. It was based on a statistically valid poll of over 1,000 Australians conducted by Galaxy Research in February 2016.

The results showed the top 10 things that Australians care most about. These were used to define the challenges that were the focus of our My Big Idea initiative. The challenges were about reflecting the true concerns of Australians, and tapping into the public’s ideas to resolve them.

You can explore the top 10 personal values that make us Australian; see what defines our culture today; and discover what Australians care most about in terms of desired cultural values. You can even take your own personal values test and see how Australia compares globally.
